On a happier note I had just spend $100 at halfpriced books so I was ok with entertainment. Don on the other hand hated it. The computer and tv are his babies. He was driving me nuts with all the attention he wanted. I love my husband and this has never happened in our marriage, until now where HE constantly wanted me to do things with him. It was great to switch things up. Alright, so here are some photos of the aftermath. These were just in my neighborhood. I know there was more damage all around Houston.
These first 2 pictures are of the lot next to us. If they had fallen the other way they would have hit my parents room and either Elena's or Adelyn's room. Those 2 trees would have caused alot of damage. We are very blessed. The kids slept in my closet the night of IKE. So they were safe.

I recognize that damage! lol
I'm so relieved that noone in the family had damage from the hurricane. I didn't know those trees fell near your house! Thank goodness they went the other way!
Seriously, that is soo scary!!! I can't believe you guys waited that one out at home. 10 days without electricity, yikes. I'm glad you're all still alive!
I'm so glad the trees didn't fall on your house. That was a blessing for you guys. I can't imagine what you all went through but I'm so glad everything worked out.
