My Little Boy

I really should know by now how to hide my makeup.
I bought a lipstick that is not suppose to come off easily. This is Hyrum the next day with a little left above his lips. So I guess it works!)

My Parents came to visit for the weekend!

Before we get to the pictures of my parents, here is some pictures of Elena trying to get her tooth out. She has now lost 2 teeth! She is also starting to have a little whistle when she talks. Ha, ha! Oh I remember that age. I just can't wait till she gets braces and then has real problems.
My parents came for the weekend. If you notice they are wearing coats all the time. That is because Don and I keep the house at 65. We are now use to it, my parents are not. In Idaho they keep it at 72. So They were cold the whole time they were here. That is just so ironic to me! !) Funny, Funny!
This is just so my dad. I always remember him reading either scriptures or a church book. Ya know, I don't think I have ever seen him read a nonreligious novel. Wow! I would just die without my novels. Edward needs me to read his books. Right Ariana! He would just not exist with out us reading about him. I got that from "The Never Ending Story"!
This is another classic picture for me. My mom always danced with us. I love this picture. Now just to clarify, Elena never left my mom's side. That is why you don't see Adelyn and Hyrum with my mom. Elena just attached herself to my mom. Poor Adelyn would have had to fight to spend time with her. Adelyn is NOT a fighter for things like that.
Here they are at the airport. It was a quick trip. I miss them. I love you, my wonderful parents!

Pictures of our house

I have had requests to see pictures of the house. So for those of you who have seen it, I am sorry this will be boring. But anyway, here we go!
Here is the door! Shocker!
The room that you see here is the formal dining room and part of the formal living room. We will use it as a piano room. When you walk in the door it is on your left.
The study is on your right.

You keep walking and go into the family room with stairs to the 2nd floor and the master bedroom to the right side of the room.
If you look to your left you see the kitchen.

And lastly, here is the media room.
This house has 3 1/2 bath, 5 bedrooms (could be 6 if you include the media room) so we hope to be here for a while. I didn't add the pictures of the other rooms because we are in the process of having shelves built into the closets and so they are a mess. That is our house. Again sorry to those who have seen our house already.

New Year's Eve!

I decided to really start using my new camera. I just can't believe the difference in the pictures! I totally don't know how to use it and they still turn out great. I am loving it! This is why I got the camera. I am not a photographer, but I want nice pictures. Actually those people at Sear's, Walmart, and Jcpenney aren't really photographers either. And we pay them for pictures. I love my new camera! Yea, I know I already said that but it is true. Alright so here are the pictures from New Year's Eve. Carter seemed to want me to take a picture and then when I got it ready he posed like that.Adelyn was the come down from the watching the movie and played with Carter. I think she broke his balloon.
Here is Ariana and Sierra. I haven't started to edit my photo's yet so they have red eye. Sorry Ariana!
Ha, Ha! Don was holding Hyrum and then Hyrum woke up and started crying. He wanted Allan to hold him. I have no idea what was going on in Hyrum's head. Maybe uncle Allan just looked more comfortable? I thought it was funny.

I love Sierra's expression in this photo.
Brooklyn didn't want anything to do with the sparklers. It is funny how us parents always try to get them to experience these things in spite of how they feel. My poor kids have too hard. What kind of mom am I! :)
Don started to chase the kids around with a sparkler. They fled like chicken's running from a fox. Hyrum ran towards the road so here is Don taking him back to the driveway.

After the fireworks at Kevin's and Jenna's house we went to our house for the adult fun time. We laid all the kids down and they actually slept! We stayed up till late and played games. It was ALOT of FUN!
Carter woke up in a very happy mood. I just couldn't resist taking his happy picture.

Another Rite of Passage

I totally did this when I was little. Oh and it was fun! So when we moved into our new home that has stairs, of course, I told my kids how to do it. They were trying to slide down with out any props. I just couldn't keep quiet. I had to tell them the secret to really go fast. It was great to watch them and remember the good old days.
Adelyn is trying to copy Brock. But she just can't quite make it happen.
I don't know if Hyrum was not excited about going down the stair or if he knows Adelyn is about to kiss him.
But he did love it!

Christmas Morning

Here is just a random picture I took in the morning and thought I would share.Here it is!
Elena was the first to wake up. But she had to wait for the others.
Adelyn was the next one to open her eyes.
We ended up waking up Hyrum to get the show on the road.
She is cheering that she got a Hannah Montana doll.
