Aquarium

Courtney is moving and we decided to spend some quality time together with the kids. She decided for us to go visit the Aquarium. I have lived here for 7 years and drove past it countless times and never went in. So this was a great idea for us. We ended up having a BLAST! This first picture the kids were being silly. I have no idea why they were doing that.

I felt so bad for this tiger. There are two of them and they are kept in a little tiny space. It was so sad! :(
There is a big carouse wheel that lets you see most of the city. This one looked and felt much safer then the one at the carnival. I was able to stifle my fears once again. :D Addy doesn't seem to mind heights at all!
Hyrum loved this ride! Everyone loved to see his facial expressions. It was really funny.

It turned hot toward the end of the day. Luckily they have a splashpad. So we let the kids run in the water and get wet! It made for an exciting day.

Grandpa Marlowe's 69th Birthday!

Before I show my dad's birthday pictures here is something Don gave me. He had someone deliver these to me at the house. :D
It has been great to have my parents living with us. I have never been able to live by them, so this experience has been one to cherish. My dad turned 69 years old! This first picture is just so them.

Catch up from December 2008 #2

John's family came to visit and show us his new little baby girl. He actually couldn't get time off to visit, but we had fun without him. Grandma and Grandpa took all the kids on a walk. I love this picture. The rest of the pictures were taken from the trip to the children's museum.

Here is the new little one in the family.

I was in charge of Hyrum so I took alot of him. He cracks me up!

Carnival 2009 #2

I have way too many pictures! It looks like ya'll get to see two posts about the carnival. We had such a great time together.

Isn't this chick cute?!

So I need to explain. Hyrum doesn't like to instantly smile for things. He tries to hide his happiness. So instead you get a picture with him with his mouth open wide. That is what he does to prevent a smile. What a weirdo! Actually come to think of it, it reminds me of someone. HMMM! Don!

I love the sleeping afterwards! I concept of wearing them out vs. them wearing us out always thrills me. But usually in the process of wearing them out I get worn out too! You can never win!!!
