Sick, Sick, Sick!

We have all been sick. All the kid's have had fevers and coughs. Elena and Adelyn were easy to deal with. But Hyrum ended up having double ear infections and he had a horrible time. He was waking up all night and not wanting to go back to sleep. He was whining all day. Oh and I can't forget how he wouldn't take his antibiotics. We had to force feed him that! Luckily, antibiotics work fast and he is better. I feel better with sleep also. So here are some picture of before he got sick.

Ya know, I love my kids, but when they are sick and you are sick and tired it is easy to lose patience. I am just happy now that things are better. Maybe now that I am sleeping my sore throat will go away.

My Birthday # 28

This is my kind of party! I invited everyone who is really close to me. I pick the dessert. I didn't make anything. I didn't clean up afterwards. Best of all, everyone pretended to think I was younger then I am. I appreciate them being kind to me, but really I don't mind the age. Twenty eight to me is still a young pup. Maybe when I am forty I will think differently. Thirty even seems a great age to me. This is probably because I have felt thirty for a long time, so being twenty eight has not caught me up to how I feel.
Adelyn played a lot with her cousin Sierra. Adelyn is a very loving girl. She just loves to hug and kiss people. I think Sierra enjoys this. They get along every well.Hyrum didn't care for the brownies at first. He really wanted the cookies. He sat here most of the time they were cooking.
I really wanted the kids to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. So we lined them up and took this picture. Kids still have the gleam in their eyes for birthdays. This is what I want to see. It was great!
So half the women at the party were pregnant. They all look so great together, I decided I really wanted a picture. Don't they look cute?!

Strawberry Jam

Joe and Drew are now living with us! Here are some fun pictures I randomly took of them.
I love strawberry freezer jam! We always have to make it. This year we each had our share to do to finish the job. Here is the game plan. I washed and cut up the strawberries. Adelyn put them in the blender. Elena mixed the sugar and pectin together, then she mixed in the blended strawberries. I put them in the jars. Adelyn wiped off the jars. Oh yea, I forgot the most important job! Hyrum was our taste tester. He really shines in this occupation. So here is our finished project. This is the first year I have entrusted my kids to help with it. Now all I need is some Great Harvest wheat bread! YUM!

Spring Time

I love Spring! It is sooo pretty here. I just had to get the kids out and take some pictures. I really had a hard time deciding which one I liked the best. So ya'll have to tell me your favorites. IT IS TOO HARD! I am just way too biased.

Here is the main event of our vacation!It was really fun to start calling her Amy Marlowe.

We really had a awesome time! The girl's got to perform a dance with their cousin's at the reception. I got to see a lot of my family I haven't see in a long time. It just was fun!

Lots of Pictures

Most of these pictures are for my sister to see. So I am sorry if they bore the rest of y'all! One thing I can't get over is that the day before we get there, Beth gets a dog. I always thought I would be the only one in the family to have a dog. I have the breed picked out already. But after being around a dog, I think I will wait till all my kids are potty trained. The only picture I have of the dog is when she is with Adelyn. Elena was the one with her everyday, ALL day. She loves Missy (the dog).Elena really like having the job of feeding her cousin. I truly think she will love being a mom.
Nathaniel saw Hyrum in these p.j.'s and realized he had some just like them. In fact, they are the same size. It really didn't bother him that they were one size too small.

I love this picture of Lannea. She is such a cute little girl! We really bonded there at the end of my visit. You really have to work to get her to like you. My trick to her heart, break your back helping her to walk. All you moms know how this goes! I was there to help her take her first steps. I truly am a GREAT aunt. I totally take all the credit for her ability. It had nothing to do with her being 13 months old!
She is just my little model child. She loves the camera!

Hyrum won a cake at the Easter egg hunt in Broulim's. He was just so proud. It is just too bad he never got a piece of it.
