Joe and Drew are now living with us! Here are some fun pictures I randomly took of them.
I love strawberry freezer jam! We always have to make it. This year we each had our share to do to finish the job. Here is the game plan. I washed and cut up the strawberries. Adelyn put them in the blender. Elena mixed the sugar and pectin together, then she mixed in the blended strawberries. I put them in the jars. Adelyn wiped off the jars. Oh yea, I forgot the most important job! Hyrum was our taste tester. He really shines in this occupation. So here is our finished project. This is the first year I have entrusted my kids to help with it. Now all I need is some Great Harvest wheat bread! YUM!

Looks good Mary, I also love freezer jam. If I come visit will you let me help make it??? I don't even know how - I'm probably the same level as Hyrum :)

Yea! Joe and Drew are here! We can't wait to get together this weekend.
I guess it is the season for making strawberry frezer jam. I have been waiting for Carter to go back to school (he has been sick) so I can make some. He went back today...so I had better get to work!
I'm glad Joe and Drew are having fun getting to know the kids! Boy, I'm totally looking forward to having some wheat bread with homemade jam when I come in a few weeks! That is so nice that the kids all helped with making it. :)
