The kids and I look forward to going on our Idaho trip every year! This is a long post! Here we are at the airport. Just me and my bubba boy at our best. ;)
This is the moment I hate! You leave your husband and have to deal with 5 kids, airplanes, and then a 4 hour drive.
So my mom ALWAYS has candy at her house. The kids just gorged themselves on it. I just gave up and let them. Lu found this little pots and decided that they made a great sucker holder. She would put the suckers in them and then later come back and finish them off.
We decided to go to West Yellowstone Park this year with the kids. We saw lots of fun things but this was a first for me. We took the kids swimming in the river where the hot water meets the river water. The kids loved it. We were going to get dressed in swimming suits but after shielding the kids from some European Lady changing I just wanted to hurry up and get there.
As you can see Leslie was in top form! Lack of sleep and hyped up on candy really brings out the best in every kid!
She really took to uncle Dan though.
He had the magic touch and was able to put her to sleep.
These pictures were just the kids messing around.
Now on to the Oakley Reunion pictures. Food and company are a must here in Oakley.
The aunts came up with some fun things for the kids to do. They had a dunking booth, rotating swing, and 2 different water slides for the kids. Our kids LOVED the swing!
The annual 1 mile kid race.
Here are the two little boy cousins.
People had a hard time telling these two apart.
Here is cousin picture.
Now our way back home we were able to catch up with the Shawn and Katherine Nobmann. I really miss my friend!!
And Addy apparently really missed hers too!
The last visit we were able to squeeze in was with great grandma Hausen. The kids got more candy and lots of love!

I love that you guys DO so many fun things on your trips. I love visiting family and having time together in a home to talk and bond but I also, personally, really need at least one excursion to get our and do something fun! I love that your family does that!
I was thinking, I hope next year on your Idaho trip there's a picture of our kids together because we live in Utah and you stop to visit!! haha
Brooklyn is looking at your blog with me and got excited over the Welcome to Idaho picture with your kids since we just took one on our trip :)
