Camping March 2011

Okay I know that this is way over due but I found these pictures and decided I took them so I need to add them to our album. We went camping which turned out to be a great time despite having to use the grill as the camp fire! It was during a dry season so no fire for us. The only bad thing was taking Tia (our dog) with us. She moved sooooooo much in the night that Don and I couldn't get any sleep. I mean it is already hard enough to sleep when you camp she just made it so much worse.

So because we knew that this trip was going to be the only camping trip of the year for us. We took full advantage of all the fun things to do while camping. We played games, eat a ton (you know smores, hotdogs, and chips), played more games, told ghost stories and in the morning went hiking. Well as much as you can with little ones.

BROKEN

This happened 2 days before we left to go on vacation to Idaho and the story goes like this. I told the 3 older kids to mop the kitchen floor. When I went to check on them they had made a swimming pool on the tile. I just tried my best to stay calm and told them to wipe it up and finish mopping. I took the two little one in my bathroom to keep them safe. Little did I know that they would not listen! They proceeded to keep it really wet and had sliding contests. Addy was running and fell down to cause this to happen. WOW! Did she hear it from me at this point. There was not holding back now!! I tell you there is nothing so scary as your child hurt.I would say "poor Addy" but everyone has these moments in their life. Hopefully lesson learned!

Adelyn's 9 Year Old Photos

I finally got it done. Here is my beautiful little 9 year old. I am not sure I really need to say anything. We shot these pictures in record time to avoid getting covered with mosquito bites. This first one really shows how she smiles everyday. She also chose to have the woods in the background.This is the way I chose.

Swim Team

We decide to give swim team a try this year! Elena LOVED it! Adelyn liked it. And Hyrum just tolerated it. But they are all better swimmers because of it. So that makes it worth all my saturdays. So here is Addy waiting for the buzzer to go off.

My poor little baby also had to endure the early mornings and heat every saturday. Byron is holding him so i can take take these pictures.

I LOVE HIM!

He makes the best lil' cuddle bear ever! But when we are not in mommy's arms I still find ways to melt her heart.

Toys must be in my mouth

Here he is! Michael is at such a fun age. He is the sweetest little boy. He is so calm and happy! And who couldnt love those cheeks?! I love the faces that babies make. Every emotion is played out right before your eyes!

But in the end all things must end up in the mouth. :)
