Vacation!

Don and I took a little trip in February. We had all these big plans and then decided to go San Antonio. It turned out to be a blast! That could be because Don planned the vacation around what he thought I would like to do. I was OK with that! :D We drove there and stayed in this REALLY nice resort. It was the coolest place ever! I would go there again just to eat the breakfast they serve. We did alot of fun stuff together. We got massages and pedicures. We went to movies. We went horse back riding. Best of all we spent time together! Here is our self portrait in the hotel. I couldn't decide which way I like the photo. So you get to see it both ways.

This cat was following us at the stables. I love this coloring on a cat. It was a very friendly cat. There was a time when I would've held this cat, but in my old age I have come to not touch strange cats. Hopefully, the cat was satisfied by the attention it got from getting its picture taken.

Christmas Card

Here was our Christmas card this year. I made this card and I sure learned a lot! It did help me justify getting some more software for my computer. ;) I am always up for that.

All I Want for Christmas Is my Two Front Teeth!

Ha ha! Elena lost her two front teeth right before Christmas. It cracks me up to sing that song to her. She has never heard the song before so she doesn't really get it. Sometimes when you are teasing someone and they don't catch on, it totally takes the steam out of your sail.

Gingerbread Houses

These did not turn out very well. I was trying to bargain shop and got a good deal on crappy houses. :( Don has now banned me from buying those again. Does any one know a good way to do this?It is funny how Hyrum turn out to make the same kind of house Don has made in Christmas's past. They both excel at making good trailer ginger houses!

Snow in Houston?!

I can't believe it finally snowed here. :0 I have been waiting for 7 years for it to snow. I sent the kids out to see it and they didn't even bother to put on coats! I know the picture doesn't really show it, but it is snowing. The next few pictures are the proof of the snow.
Tia had to go outside before bed. She doesn't seem to like the snow.

Thanksgiving Time

So, it has been awhile since I last posted. I am going to try and play catch up. Here are some pictures from Elena's and Adelyn's classes. In this first picture, you will notice a child who is not 6 years old.


This is Addy's best friend. Her name is Kelly. Addy's teacher told me that Kelly HAS to sit by Addy. They do everything together. In fact Kelly and Addy both missed the 100 Days of School party because of the flu.
