Hyrum time to smile for the camera

I decided to have some fun and take pictures of Hyrum. I took him outside and just let him pose for the camera. I really like these three pictures. I don't have a favorite yet. You really have to catch him in the mood to pose though. Otherwise, he just will look at you like you are stupid. But with the way I sound trying to get him to smile, maybe he is right.

Fishing Trip in the city

Well, we went fishing at the park. It is stocked with trout, but we didn't catch any. It was a pretty sight though. The best of all was the company! We had a great time. Afterwards we ended up eating at Red Robin's. I have never eaten there, it was a first for me. Here are pictures of the kid's first fishing trip. We bought them all fishing poles and Hyrum loved catching seaweed?!

This is my niece Brooklyn and Adelyn playing around. They had more fun just running and hiding behind trees then fishing.

My sister in law Ariana. I love her glasses. My kids have broken so many pairs that I just don't buy them anymore.
This is my other niece Sierra. If you look closer, you can tell she is terrified of the scary monster named aunt Mary.

I am too young for this!

I have a wrinkle! I would post a picture, but that is kind of scary. I am only 27 years old. I thought people got wrinkles then they are in their late 30's and 40's. I can deal with the extra weight, but wrinkles don't go away. I don't mind aging. Just not now, later. :( Please tell me other people are aging also.

I am a Soccer Mom!

I am finally in this time of life! I love soccer! When we had the girl's in dance and gymnastics it was okay. I just get thrilled to see them play soccer. These pictures are from their first game. Since then they have really improved and even scored goals. Adelyn's first game was kind of trying. She didn't understand that in order to play you have to go get the ball. This is her pouting that they were not giving her a turn.
Hyrum got into the action with soccer all on his own.
Look at the determination.
This is her coach and some of her teammates. She is the only girl on the team.

Mother's Day at School

We are finally all better! I had to get on antibiotics to get over strep. Since we are all better, I have been going everywhere. It just feels good to be well. I have been able to see and talk to my friends and family. When you have been pretty much locked down in the house with only your kids to talk to, you really get a need to talk to your girlfriends. So thanks everyone for letting me talk your ear off.

We went to Elena's school for their mother's breakfast. The kids loved going and eating the donuts. Of course, they just happen to have a book fair at the same time. We were happy to help them earn money. The last picture is of Elena with her teacher.

My Boys

I took this picture after Don got home from his stake calling. Hyrum had just woke up and needed some love. I know I always post pictures of Don looking funny, but here is one that I love. In my defense, Don loves to play around when I take pictures. I can't be the one to blame. I just enjoy laughing at him!

Suzie tagged me and so here are my answers.

My Husband:

How long have we been married? In march it will be 8 years!

How long did you date? We met in FHE at the beginning of the school year and then started to date in November, by march we were married.

Who eats more sweets? I definitely have the upper hand on that one.

Who said I love you first? Ya know, I don't remember. Eight years and three babies has definitely caused me to lose my memory. The life of a mother! Maybe that is why mother's can't remember which kid's name they are trying to say.

Who is taller? Don.

Who can sing better? Umm, maybe our dog. Oh wait, we don't own a dog, YET.

Who is smarter? Since Don has a degree, I will go with him. I dropped out of beauty school. I am totally singing the beauty school dropout song from Grease.

Who does the laundry? Me! Don always claims amnesia when it comes to certain chores. But that is ok because he does the night dishes. I hate doing dishes. I would rather clean toilets then dishes.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do because the nightstand is on that side. I love to stay up and read so I need to sleep on that side.

Who mows the lawn? Don does most of the yard work. But then it comes to planting I do most of the work.

Who cooks dinner? I get the wonderful privilege of cooking. I hate cooking. I love baking because of the results you get, but cooking is just not fun to me.

What's unique about him? He is not someone really out of the ordinary to most people, but to me he is everything. He has all the right ideas and react the same way as I do to most situations. He is a good mix of the perfect guy for me. That is why he is unique to me.

Who drives? Houston is just so spread out. It takes forever to get anywhere. So we take turns if we drive together somewhere. It just comes down to who has not driven the most recently.

Who is more stubborn? We are pretty equal on this topic. Now who says sorry first goes to Don. Does that mean I am more stubborn? Nah, I just have to really mean it when I say it. Sometimes, I think Don just says it to calm me.

Who kissed who first? Don gave me his first kiss. He was the one to make the move.

Who asked who out first? He did.

Who proposed? He did.

Who has more siblings? Don wins with a 7 to 4 lead.

Who wears the pants? It depends on what it is about. If it is about his job then he does, if it is about my job at home then me. It just comes down to who cares the most about it. If we both have vested interests in it equally then it comes down to prayer and who has the best arguments.

Well that was fun! So I guess I tag Jenna and Ariana. I would love to read your results on your blogs. All my friends from high school, I loved reading your results.
