Leslie & I Home Alone

It has been weird to have just the two of us home alone. But we are adjusting well. If I was not pregnant it would be different. These are just some random pictures of my little girl.

This little girl LOVES the bathtub. I have caught her in the tub with her clothes on and the water running. We have since then taken precautions and took all the stoppers out of the bathrooms.

She just melts my heart!

New School Year 2011

I can't believe I have THREE kids now in school!! Hyrum was not really excited to start of course. That is just so him. I don't know how it is going to be with just Leslie and I at home. Alright to be honest I am really looking forward to it! HEHE! At least for a short while it will be great but I am sure the novelty of it will wear off fast. I always have a hard time when school starts. With that said here they are on the way to school. As we were walking to the school I decided to take a picture of them.
Here is Adelyn with her teacher.

Elena and her teacher.

Now for Hyrum's turn.

You can't tell from the photo's but Hyrum wouldn't smile for me. He was being a stinker that day. He didn't know I was going to take a picture and Don told him a joke. That is how we got him to smile like this.
Leslie and I wanted a picture of us too. Here we are on the way out of the school.
After a short time Hyrum got a new and better teacher. Here he is with his new teacher. I am so happy about it. He was having a harder time with the other and this one is just awesome. So problems what so ever!! I guess experience does really count with teachers. His first one, it was her first year teaching. This one has been teaching for over a decade. I really like her.

One Last Swimming Lesson Session

This was on the last day of swimming lessons. We did a couple of sessions this summer. Elena and Adelyn are pretty good swimmers now. In fact, they are better then me. The stuff they learned is way above what I learned and can do. But in a free for all swim time you wouldn't know it!

At the beginning of the summer Leslie didn't like the water. But now she loves it. You can't tell from this photo but she was having fun. She was putting her head in the water and kicking for this girl.

This is where I learned that a little "dum dum" sucker would keep her happy for about 20 minutes. That was a great lesson for my plane trip this summer.

John's Wedding

I have definitely been camera shy lately. These are the only ones I took during John's wedding weekend. Here are all the cousins but 2. Trying to get them all to seat and smile was asking TOO MUCH! They sure are cute though.Emmalyn stayed by Leslie and played with her. It was cute to see them together.
As for these four!! It was heaven for them! They had a lot of fun!

My Secret to a Happy Airplane Ride

We came home and while I was unpacking this little girl found her suckers! She did have 3 in her mouth but by the time I put her in her chair and got the camera one had fallen. They really did do the trick on the airplane though.

Idaho 2011

We had a GREAT time in Idaho this year. We stayed for a little over 3 weeks. It was wonderful weather! Being pregnant this was exciting for me. I really didn't take pictures with my camera. I just mainly used my phone so the pictures are not the best. But at least I have some!!

I was going to try on the way to Rexburg to take a picture by the "Welcome to Idaho" sign. But this was way too nice to interrupt that.
The first night there Nathaniel and Hyrum both got dressed at the same time and came into the room wearing the same pj's! I just had to laugh. I guess Beth and I shop at the same places. Those boys had no idea what the other was wearing.
After a night or two we headed to the soccer tournament in Utah. The kids loved swimming and playing around there.
Hotels are the coolest thing ever in our family!
On the way back to Rexburg we got to celebrate my cousin Jano's little girl's first birthday. We send Don these pictures of Hyrum. This is their little thing. A long with the words "I fight you!" Boys!!

Of course I had to take this picture. She always finds a spot by the good food. Addy really seemed to fit in here. She loved being up in the center of things and dancing in front of everyone. I didn't get a picture of Elena because she was too busy playing with the kittens. This is also where Leslie drank dog water and got the runs. Good times!
Back to Rexburg. We all got our hair cut. These two stuck together the whole trip.
I wanted a picture of them because Elena got her hair cut just like Josie.
These two just got a trim. They sure are cute though!
Now on to the Rodriquez Reunion. Here are the living members of my mom's family.
Now just the siblings.
We always do the 10k run and the kid's 1 mile run.
You can't tell but there were way more people behind those you see in this photo.
After the run John took our families to the city of rocks. There was no way I was going up there. I watched the little ones.
We all needed a break after that. Here is John and his little girl Whitney.
Dan and I just talking in the shade.
Well now we are back in Rexburg and Don has joined us for our little Marlowe reunion. We went canoeing down warm river. Don really got to put his muscles to the test with this boat trip. I didn't row at all! I was in charge of the kids (okay really just watching Leslie).
Mom was the only one missing. After last year when she thought she was going to drown she couldn't bring herself to come. I even got to pass on the baton of catching minnows. But first I had to show them how a pro does it. Luckily, I still COULD!
Next we went on a hike/nature walk. LOL! Don LOVED this!!! HEHE! Leslie screamed the whole time. But at least the walk was only about 10 there and 10 minutes back.
Amy is only about a month behind me and man I look like a whale!
Here is Leslie and Whitney at Big J's.
Later we got to enjoy going on a date with Beth and Dan. She is definitely my favorite sister!!! Love her!!
