Incredible Pizza

I over heard the kids talking about a week after these were taken and they were saying how it "REALLY WAS INCREDIBLE even the pizza!" It was a holiday weekend and we didn't know what to do. Joe and Drew came up with the idea to go here. It turned out great.
Elena ended up winning the race!
They have this area for small kids. I thought I would try her on some of those rides. As you can see she did NOT approve!
This one didn't move you just got to turn the wheel and push buttons. She loved it. In this picture she is smiling for her aunt Drew.
Here is Drew and Aiden. Aiden enjoyed the rides more then Leslie but he still didn't love them. I guess they are just too young still.
I gave it one more try..................You can see how that turned out.
Don and Hyrum decided to play some kind of shooting game together. Of course Hyrum picked out the game with the biggest guns he could find. You don't really have to be able to pick it up do you? ;)
The highlight of the day was playing laser tag. This is what won the day for them. This is what they have been talking about for ever now. They keep reliving how Addy shot daddy and who won and all the little things about the game.

After it was all over we bought some cotton candy for the ride home.
He wanted his picture like this.
The day wore Leslie OUT!
It was a good day.

Adelyn's 8!

We decided to have a small little party for her on her birthday since she was going to be baptized and everyone would be there for that celebration. I have given up on making birthday cakes and now will most likely just buy them. The cake turned out great and Adelyn had fun on her big day. But I have to say I have some very silly kiddos!

31 Years Old!

I can't believe it. I feel like I finally made it to 30 and now I am 31! I went from my parents and siblings to getting married so quickly, that it has make my life filled with family. I am so lucky! What a True and Everlasting Gift family really is..........

Hyrum made me this picture for my birthday. That is me in the picture in our garden that Hyrum helped me plant.I told the girls that this year they had to come up with something more special then a picture for me. I really wanted them to learn about the love of gift giving and joy that goes with it. Who better then Me for them to practice on! They really did a great job. We talked about what I liked and how not to give something that they like. Luckily for me they had money to buy a gift from Easter. It was so thoughtful, they saved that money specifically for me! Anyway, here is Adelyn with the same kind of flowers she bought me. The only difference is that mine were purple.
Elena bought me these flowers. Both girls know I love the color purple.
As for Don, he made me a homemade chocolate cake that turned out DELICIOUS! His other gift was some jewelry that was a matching set for both my birthday and mother's day.

The Dress up stage has begun

I love this stage! Trying on shoes, socks, and anything they can reach. It is just way too adorable. Luckily, I was able to get a picture of Leslie with something other then my negligee. She really prefers soft silky material. She is such a girl.

Cocoa Puffs REALLY?!

What havoc a little bowl of Cocoa Puffs can make!! But she loved it and that is the important part. I just might not give her any for a really long time. I don't know if you can tell or not but the sleek hair is from the bowl ended up on her head.Of course she is looking cute with all the cocoa puff's mess on her and a big old sagging diaper!
This is the part I like the bath time! All the kids thought it was so funny to see her like this. They all came to watch her take her bath. I don't know why that was so much fun. The things that entertain them still amazes me!

Waco Texas!

We made a little weekend trip to Waco to visit some close friends. Oh my they really made it a fun trip! I finally started some pills to help with the morning sickness and it made a HUGE difference! I still feel sick but at least I am not puking! We did a lot but I didn't really take out my camera to document it. The adults went out to eat, we went to the zoo, we had a cookout and smores, the women went shopping and that was a filled weekend of fun!

Here are our friends! Thanks for the good times!

Leslie's 1st Birthday

We had family over for her birthday. Here is her little cousin Aidan, who is her close companion.Daddy and Leslie just kickin' it.
Lulu really LOVED her cake. Of course it was chocolate and you can't go wrong with that!
