Christmas 2010

Another year with not waking up early. I am enjoying this. My kids haven't learned to wake up at 4 for 5 like I did. Should I say "yet".

Hyrum was too busy to look at me!
Leslie likes Christmas!
She REALLY likes it!

Christmas Eve

We had Mom and Dad Hausen, Kevin and Jenna, and Joe and Drew over to celebrate Christmas Eve. First we had the chocolate fountain and treats. Then we did the nativity. Last we had a family talent show. It was JUST PERFECT for me! I loved seeing everyone and spending my favorite part of Christmas with them. I just felt like this is what heaven will be like. Enjoying time with the ones you love. And REALLY good food. I hope we eat in heaven!Without further adieu here are the photos.

First Piano Recital

This is the first year the girls started piano. Elena really wanted to start. She kept on bugging her grandpa Marlowe to teach her. He gave her some lessons and she loved it. Since my parents were leaving I decided to find a piano teacher and get both of them started. Carrie Foster is such a wonderful teacher. She taught 2nd grade and loves music. Her personality is just perfect for my girls.
I think that Adelyn has seen me pregnant too many times! LOL! What is that saying? Being copied is the greatest form of flattery! HEHE

All Dressed Up and No Where To Go

I was already for church and then we decided that someone need to stay home with a sick kid. Don had to be there so I got the job. So what do you do when the kid takes a nap and you have your photography lights up!

Joe, Drew, & Aidan

I am always glad when someone else lets me try to capture some moments in their life. These two are my favorite of the group. I think I do better with less people in the pictures. :(
Oh, well practice makes perfect. Thanks Joe and Drew for the opportunity and giving up some of your Thanksgiving holiday time.

The Christmas Season Begins!

I have always had a little place in my heart for small delicate things. I love seeing creative people making unique pieces. Here in Houston every year the church sponsors a Christmas Nativity Event. I always like to take the kids. Don decided to come this year.Afterwards we went to Cracker Barrel for some dinner.
Lu puts EVERYTHING in her sweet little mouth. It is not hard to catch her with this look.

Thanksgiving Time

The Saturday before Thanksgiving was BEAUTIFUL! We decided to head over to the Mercer Arboretum. We spend the time walking, talking and just playing around. I love casual Saturdays. They make me happy!
