Lots of Pictures

Most of these pictures are for my sister to see. So I am sorry if they bore the rest of y'all! One thing I can't get over is that the day before we get there, Beth gets a dog. I always thought I would be the only one in the family to have a dog. I have the breed picked out already. But after being around a dog, I think I will wait till all my kids are potty trained. The only picture I have of the dog is when she is with Adelyn. Elena was the one with her everyday, ALL day. She loves Missy (the dog).Elena really like having the job of feeding her cousin. I truly think she will love being a mom.
Nathaniel saw Hyrum in these p.j.'s and realized he had some just like them. In fact, they are the same size. It really didn't bother him that they were one size too small.

I love this picture of Lannea. She is such a cute little girl! We really bonded there at the end of my visit. You really have to work to get her to like you. My trick to her heart, break your back helping her to walk. All you moms know how this goes! I was there to help her take her first steps. I truly am a GREAT aunt. I totally take all the credit for her ability. It had nothing to do with her being 13 months old!
She is just my little model child. She loves the camera!

Hyrum won a cake at the Easter egg hunt in Broulim's. He was just so proud. It is just too bad he never got a piece of it.
All the rest of these pictures are from my sister's friend's (April Carter) house. We grow up in the same ward as her. My kid's had a fun filled day in good ole St.A!

On Our Way to Idaho

I just had to show photo's of the trip to get to Idaho. It was such a major event. I drove to Dallas and stayed the night there. In the morning we were up at 4 and on a plane at 6 am. John meet us at the airport. We flew to Seattle and then to Boise. Here we went to my brother John's house for 3 hours and then on to Idaho Falls. I think we ended up getting to Beth's house at 11 pm. If this wasn't bad enough, the trip home was even worse. First, there was a blizzard and schools were canceled. Then our plane was canceled. We went another flight later and made it to Seattle. Oh yea, I forgot to tell you we were on standby. So we got stuck in Seattle. luckily, I have some great cousin's there. Josie and Paulina were so wonderful to visit. I sure have missed them. So it turnout nice to see them. But then we tried the flight at midnight and got stuck there in the airport overnight. My new sister in law was with us the whole time. She was just GREAT! Alright, I think I am mumbling so to cut it short we ended up spending another $1500 to get back. And then I still had to drive back to Houston. I now swear I will never do that again. Maybe I should rethink have more kids also?!

Elena is learning to bike ride. I am not a very good teacher for that! Luckily, my dad came to visit. He did most of the teaching. I just wish he was here longer. But I am going to see him and everyone soon. Here are a few pictures I took of the lesson. What you don't see is Elena getting mad at the bike. She wasn't very happy with falling down. :)

Hyrum time to smile for the camera

I decided to have some fun and take pictures of Hyrum. I took him outside and just let him pose for the camera. I really like these three pictures. I don't have a favorite yet. You really have to catch him in the mood to pose though. Otherwise, he just will look at you like you are stupid. But with the way I sound trying to get him to smile, maybe he is right.

Fishing Trip in the city

Well, we went fishing at the park. It is stocked with trout, but we didn't catch any. It was a pretty sight though. The best of all was the company! We had a great time. Afterwards we ended up eating at Red Robin's. I have never eaten there, it was a first for me. Here are pictures of the kid's first fishing trip. We bought them all fishing poles and Hyrum loved catching seaweed?!

This is my niece Brooklyn and Adelyn playing around. They had more fun just running and hiding behind trees then fishing.

My sister in law Ariana. I love her glasses. My kids have broken so many pairs that I just don't buy them anymore.
This is my other niece Sierra. If you look closer, you can tell she is terrified of the scary monster named aunt Mary.

I am too young for this!

I have a wrinkle! I would post a picture, but that is kind of scary. I am only 27 years old. I thought people got wrinkles then they are in their late 30's and 40's. I can deal with the extra weight, but wrinkles don't go away. I don't mind aging. Just not now, later. :( Please tell me other people are aging also.

I am a Soccer Mom!

I am finally in this time of life! I love soccer! When we had the girl's in dance and gymnastics it was okay. I just get thrilled to see them play soccer. These pictures are from their first game. Since then they have really improved and even scored goals. Adelyn's first game was kind of trying. She didn't understand that in order to play you have to go get the ball. This is her pouting that they were not giving her a turn.
Hyrum got into the action with soccer all on his own.
Look at the determination.
This is her coach and some of her teammates. She is the only girl on the team.
